MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS

The purpose of this document is to regulate the MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS of the Club de Amigos Programme of Fuerte Group Hotels, which offers its members the chance to receive the best promotions and benefits when using the accommodation and other services provided by Fuerte Group Hotels.

For the purposes of these membership conditions:

The term “Fuerte Group Hotels” refers to all hotels of the brands “Fuerte Hoteles”, “Amàre”, “El Fuerte Marbella”, “Daia Slow Beach Hotel Conil” and “Olée Holidays Rentals”, as well as the hotel establishments that are part of the Fuertegroup S.L. Corporate group, unless specified otherwise.

  • The term “Fuerte Group Hotels Business Partner” refers to establishments and/or companies of all kinds of businesses with which Club Amigos of Fuerte Group Hotels has a collaborative relationship to provide benefits to members of the Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos Programme.
  • The term “member” refers to the person who has joined the Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos Programme.
  • The term “active member” refers to a member who has completed a stay at a Fuerte Group Hotels establishment over a period of 3 years.
  • There are currently five categories of Club de Amigos at Fuerte Group Hotels:
    • Club Amigos Basic, equivalent to 1 night’s stay.
    • Club Amigos Silver, equivalent to 5 nights’ stay.
    • Club Amigos Gold, equivalent to 30 nights’ stay.
    • Club Amigos Platinum, equivalent to 50 nights’ stay.
    • Club Amigos Diamond, equivalent to 100 or more nights’ stay.

The benefits for each of the categories can be seen in the Club de Amigos section of each category.

In this document the generic form is used, so no distinction is made between males and females.

If a member reaches the number of nights required to be upgraded to the Club de Amigos during their stay, the upgrade will be made automatically. This change will be effective from the next morning, and the customer will receive an email with the new benefits associated with the achieved level. It is important to note that the benefits of the new level cannot be enjoyed until the upgrade is confirmed.1

The nights booked in “Flight + Hotel” packages through our official platforms will be counted to determine the Club de Amigos level of the holder.2

Membership of the Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos Programme represents both the validity and the full and unreserved acceptance of all the Terms and/or Conditions listed below, notwithstanding which Fuerte Group Hotels reserves the right to unilaterally make modifications to these Conditions, which will be duly announced and, where appropriate, communicated.

The nights of stays are counted from the year 2013. Only nights of stay will be taken into account for reservations that have been made through any of the websites of Fuerte Group Hotels or through the Reservation Centre of Fuerte Group Hotels.

If a member does not complete a stay over three consecutive years, Fuerte Group Hotels will, without prior notice, lower the member’s category by one level and they will obtain the corresponding equivalent of nights in that new category. If another three consecutive years pass without a stay, Fuerte Group Hotels, without prior notice, will lower the level again and the member will be in the Club Amigos Basic level, where they will begin with no accumulated rewards.

Fuerte Group Hotels is not responsible for Fuerte Group Hotels business partners who withdraw from the Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos Programme, nor, therefore, for any changes that such withdrawal may entail.

The termination of the Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos Programme will be decided by the company and announced and communicated to members before the effective termination date of the Programme, and without said termination giving member creditors any right whatsoever.

Fuerte Group Hotels’ Club de Amigos may, at its discretion, suspend a member’s participation in the Programme without prior notice if the member does not pay the hotel’s bills on time, or if they appear to be using the Programme in a manner not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or the purpose of the Programme.

Club Amigos de Fuerte Group Hotels may suspend the account of any member who acts in an abusive or unlawful manner. If an account is suspended, all the benefits or rewards accumulated from the Club Amigos de Fuerte Group Hotels will be forfeited.

Being a member of the Club de Amigos of Fuerte Group Hotels does not guarantee any reservation at Fuerte Group Hotels establishments.

Members are hereby informed that in order to enjoy the discounts and benefits of the Club de Amigos, it is essential to accept the receipt of commercial notifications.

Club de Amigos discounts cannot be combined with other valid promotions.

The sale or exchange of rewards from hotels or commercial partners or benefits of the Club de Amigos de Fuerte Group Hotels, except those carried out by Fuerte Group Hotels, is strictly prohibited. Hotel or business partner rewards or Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos benefits that have been transferred, sold or assigned for such purposes may be confiscated or cancelled.

If a hotel establishment ceases to operate as Fuerte Group Hotels or any other hotel brand owned, managed, operated, franchised or licensed by Fuerte Group Hotels or its affiliated companies or subsidiaries, Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos benefits will not be awarded for stays at that hotel, even if the reservation was made prior to the termination date.

In the event of a documented death of a member of the Club de Amigos of Fuerte Group Hotels, the benefits of the programme are transferable only to the co-holder of the account, if there is one.

A member may have only one Fuerte Group Hotels Club de Amigos account. Companies, associations and any other kinds of collective may not join the Fuerte Group Hotels’ Club de Amigos.

The member of the Club de Amigos has the option of designating as co-owner beneficiary, a person, of legal age, who must:

(I) Have been staying with the Club de Amigos member during the last three years, prior to the designation.
(II) Be a member of our Club de Amigos.

The co-holder can enjoy all the member-level advantages, without being a guest. To designate a co-holder, members must contact customer services on + 34 951 946 896. Fuerte Group Hotels reserves the right to admission with respect to the co-holder’s registration.3

Protection of personal data: Fuerte Group, as the joint data controller together with all the hotels and companies of the group that can be found on its website https://www.fuerte-group.com/, informs you that your personal data will be collected and processed with your consent for loyalty purposes (Club de Amigos), to analyse and monitor your stays, personalise services according to your preferences, and to send you information and advertising by any means (mail, SMS, telephone, letter, etc.) about group services related to accommodation, leisure, catering and property. You have the right at any time to revoke your consent, access, rectification, erasure, or to make a complaint to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, as indicated in the additional and complete information on data protection; or you can contact our Commercial Dept. by phone on +34 917 941 284 or email us at  infogrupo@fuerte-group.com. The basic and operating conditions form a whole and shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Spanish legislation. For any question that arises in relation to the interpretation and application of these conditions, the parties, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction to which they may have recourse, expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Marbella (Malaga).
